HELLO EVERYONE !
The "Fête du Nautisme" (National event ) 2012, is coming soon !
We need the active participation of all parties involved to help make this event a success and hopefully a yearly happening. !
Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of May 2012
Saturday May 12th : discovery of Tintamarre
(reserved for Schoolkids).
Sunday May 13th : open to the general Public from 9am to 5pm.

Saturday, May 12th
As last year was such a big success, we have decided to dedicate the whole day to the Schoolkids again and allow them to discover : ocean navigation, the Réserve naturelle et several nautical activities.
Program :
- Everyone embarks at 8:30am at Marina Fort Louis (at entrance).
- Discovery of Tintamarre, organised by the Reserve Naturelle team.
- Warm lunch prepared and organised by the Lycée Pédagogique.
- Discovery of the Underwater world, nautical activities.
- Return to Fort Louis Marina around 5pm.
There will be free spaces available for the participating vessels, graciously offered by Marina Fort Louis..
Sunday, May 13th.
Open to the general Public. No booths this year . We will have the help of 40 Schoolkids who will guide people towards the different paying activities.. The ticketing for the activities will be located in the SNSM building, across from the Marina, (1euro per ticket, booklets of 10 tickets, sold to the benefit of the SNSM). A more detailed program will be in place at the end of April.
Program :
- Activities Schedule board and map at the SNSM.
- Departures of the boats at the entrance of Marina Fort Louis.
- Departures from Galisbay beach for all watersports.
- The Yacht Club will be open all day.
- VIP cocktail from 5 pm to 7pm for members, elected officials, Tourism Office, Chamber of Commerce, Press.
- Musical animation with local band.
Join us for this Fun day ! Pass on your knowledge and skills to our youth as you advertise your company !
IF you are interested in putting your equipement (boats, personel, gear etc) at the disposal of this exceptionnal event, please contact us as soon as possible so we can keep you informed.
